Californication star David Duchovny is currently at a rehabilitation center for sex addiction.

“I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction,” the former X-Files star’s lawyer Stanton “Larry” Stein tells People.

“I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”

Duchovny, 48, has been married to actress Téa Leoni for over 10 years and have two children together–daughter Madelaine, 9, and son Kyd, 6.
