Lindsay Lohan walking fast into The Bowery Hotel in New York City -- at the same time when Jennifer Lopez was throwing a birthday party for Marc Anthony -- when she tripped over a metal barricade, and apparently thought a paparazzi had tripped her -- so she decided to swing at the closest photographer, and hit him directly in the nose.
She was on the phone at the time and, after the punch, told whoever she was talking to, "I just hit a paparazzi ... because he put his leg out and tripped me!"
